Michael "Mike" Ventre

Michael “Mike” Ventre, age 64, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, comfortably at home with his life partner, Carole, by his side. Born November 17, 1959, in East Stroudsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Frank Ventre and Joyce Anderson.

He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1977 and worked at several jobs including Consolidated Freightways, Weiler Brush Co. and Truck-Lite in Wellsboro, PA, where he retired in 2019.

Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and all outdoor activities. He was a very accomplished target shooter, having won many trophies and awards for his marksmanship skills. He was a past member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Saylorsburg, PA. Mike will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and love he had for his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his life partner of 27 years, Carole Cosner, of Mansfield; brother, Leonard (Cynthia) Ventre, of Saylorsburg, PA; sister, Rhonda Anderson, of Saylorsburg, PA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many dear friends.
